             Regardless of age, it is suggested that an inspection of a home be completed prior to the sale or purchase of that home. Even new homes could have mechanical or structural problems that might be revealed by an inspection. When done by a professional, the seller or purchaser might find valuable information in assessing the functionality of the home and the report is generated in a fair and objective manner to reveal those visible defects. This provides the seller with time to make repairs as necessary prior to placing the home on the market. An inspection provides the buyer with insight as to the condition of the home and potential repairs that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. Although not regulated, these services can also be applied to commercial buildings as well.

             The bound report has sectionalized tabs and explanatory information to help identify the subjects.  The terminology used is in “layman's” terms for ease of understanding. The report is also available in a softbound condensed version (preferred by attorneys), digitally on cd-rom or via e-mail (pdf).
